As for phones, he's known his entire life that we will log onto any account on any device he has any time we choose to do so.  He's a minor, we are responsible for any of his actions and for his well being.  Does he like it?  Probably not.  Is he used to it?  Sure.  Do we really do it?  Not much anymore, but every now and then.

There is NO WAY IN HELL I would let my son continue to drive after the discovery OP made.  She is nuts and completely irresponsible if she does.  Both to her child, and to anyone else on the road.  So what if it's inconvenient?  Has parenting ever been convenient?
