But I also am going to expect my DD to participate in some sports because 1) every one needs to exercise 2) team sports teach great skills and discipline and 3) setting an expection of lifelong exercise habits and 4) kids need to be challenged. I think all kids need some basic athletic skills. I know grown ups who don't know how to ride bikes or swim and that is pathetic.[/quote]
