The fact Bronte was forewarned 20 minutes before she was evicted was stupid, a blindside is just that, a blindside. People on Survivor know how to do blindsides.
On Survivor, it's only a few hours between the Immunity Challenge and Tribal Council. On Big Brother, the Veto Ceremony is on Monday/Tuesday. Eviction is on Thursday. That's a loooong time for an entire house to keep a secret. Plus, every Thursday afternoon, all the househamsters are locked in the HOH room for hours. They don't do that on Survivor just before Tribal Council. The live feeds are down Thursday afternoon, so who knows what's said, to whom, and by whom. Also, specific to Bronte, the househamsters knew there was a possibility that she might come back into the house. (Turns out, they're right. She might.) Why not tell her? She took it pretty well. If she comes back, she's not an unhappy camper. Look at Jozea. He was truly blindsided, and he was furious. If he comes back, he's looking for revenge.
Also Survivor is a way more hardcore game, lets not get it confused. Even Hayden says that, and I think he's the only player to really play both (Caleb flamed out really early last season). People play Big Brother to hang out in a house all summer with other hot people and be on tv. People play Survivor to WIN.
