OP here... You must not have any children. It literally takes all of a second for a child to be somewhere he isn't supposed to be. I watch him like a hawk but I just find it to be a safety issue for the building. As a mother I'm even more concerned and aware of danger. [/quote]

Sue them for what?  There may be legal reasons why there is no lock, such as requiring two exits off the roof in case of fire.  Either way, she does not own the property, and the management has said no.  So, she can take her kid to all the free museums, splash pads, a playground, a public or private pool and more.  That pool is not designed for 2 year olds.  She is bored and harassing them to fill her time.

She has no rights as a renter.  Her landlord does and it would be their job to complain, not hers  She has the option to move.[/quote]
