Idiots are people like yourself who believe that a military dictatorship is preferable to a less-than-perfect democracy. Have you checked how many journalists have been arrested by  Sisi's government in Egypt? A bunch of idiots like yourself thought that would be a good democratic transition as well.

Think this through. If the coup succeeds -- pretty clear it won't -- it will be less democratic and less free. If the coup fails, Erdogan will be strengthened and even less democratic than he is now. There is no more democratic option on the table, which is why coups like this are stupid and only supported by stupid people.
