Hillary running as Obama's third term is nuts. She ain't no Obama ............. but then she can't run on her own merits because she is such a crappy candidate.
I wish Obama could run for his third term. And I'm no Obama fan. But he's WAY better than either of these clowns
I think Obama has been a poor president and has made a lot of policy mistakes (and no.....it's not because he's black, thank you very much), but I agree....I'd vote for him hands down before either of the current two candidates.
Can you elaborate on the policy mistakes Obama has made? Obamacare has over 50% support. His Antiwar Foreign Policy is still popular and is the reason he got elected. His economic policy has unemployment at 5% , made US the only growing economy among developed nations and stock market is at its peak(as is my 401K and my stock portfolio). Economic inequity is due to GOP blocking all his policies towards that end, including infrastructure bill, Retraining bill etc.
Well, I know you and I are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, so I don't expect you'll agree with any of my opinions, but I provide them just to make sure people (not necessarily you) know there are reasons not to like a president that have nothing to do with race. (I've sometimes spent five minutes why I think a policy is wrong, only to be told...."racist." It's a weak comeback.) That said, here are some examples of what I think Obama did wrong: The stimulus package was a waste of money (an extra million jobs were lost after it) Wrong. The stimulus is what saved from 1930s era depression. And the Stimulus is what Bush did too. When the entire economy and entire industry and companies are going down, the only thing that can stop the downward spiral is government. And All the companies paid back money given to them. You want to know what will happen without Stimulus, look at Europe still mired in Recession that US caused. ....Obamacare has harmed a lot of people Obama care benefited Obama voters and is very popular with the base. He was a democrat president, after all. the Libya intervention was a big mistake (Obama himself admits to this) Coming from a party whose president unleashed the Middle east turmoil with Iraq war. Libya was a minor mistake compared to IRAQ, which resulted in thousands of american lives lost and trillions of money wasted. No president goes through a perfect presidency. But no blunders is a successful presidency. we are at the lowest labor participation rate in decades It is structural in nature with many Baby boomers retiring in big numbers starting 2012 is a big factor. This is not the doing of ONE president and the economic recovery was not helped by GOP which blocks everything including infrastructure spending. the Iran Deal.... as opposed to a sanction that was not working with China and Russia that was quietly helping Iran. Also, with China, India and others quietly buying OIL in the black market the embargo was not forcing them to stop the nuclear enrichment. America thinks it has over riding power AND IT DOESN'T. Iran is not a small country and US cant really take on the might of China or Russia or India. pulling out of Iraq too soon... This is popular across all of America. You cant win a war in the middle east. You will only lose american lives. Obama only did what the majority of the citizens wanted him to do. allowing the abuses in the VA to continue way too long These are all subjective issues. You cant make a convincing case for all. Its GOP talking point, thats all. Now you have a guy who calls veterans and POWs as losers. ....the START treaty with Russia.... Again subjective. Russia is too big and have enough resources to really be contained. Putin will do what he wants, and the US can put in sanctions. He still does what he wants. Bush was friendlier to Putin, btw. the Bergdahl terrorist swap The same GOP would have howled if he had been allowed to die calling obama a Traitor for leaving an American die. declining the Keystone pipeline Liberals love this decision, you know he is a liberal president, right. adding $9 trillion to the debt The trajectory was set by Bush in an unfunded war that added trillions and continued to add trillions after he left, The economic recession again started during Bush years warranted it. However, it has plateaued since. failure to secure the border and being weak with illegal immigrants who commit multiple crimes Obama has deported more than any presidents previously, making Trump call him heartless(see link). There has been NET Emigration if you actually look for data. No president ever will deport 12 million illegal immigrants(Your mediocre god Reagan passed amnesty) becasue it cant be done. It creates logistics, labor, legal issues that arm chair generals like you dont have the need or INTELLECT to think about. http://www.redstate.com/brandon_morse/2016/06/25/trumps-new-180-immigration-mass-deportations/ unconstitutional executive action Obama has made fewer exec actions than Bush or other previous prsidents. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2014/feb/06/chain-email/chain-email-claims-barack-obama-has-signed-1000-ex/ Again, I know you'll think differently, and I don't want to engage in a debate with you - especially given Obama is on his sway out. But this should tell you just how dismayed I am with our current candidates that I'd consider Obama, with all his wrong decisions (as I see them), to be preferable.
I have answered point by point, but however you are not gonna change your mind coz you want a liberal president to act like your PERFECT GOP president that never existed.
I never said the GOP candidate was perfect, far from it, so no need for the snarky ending. Your nasty crap (i.e., my demigod Reagan, etc.) shows me you are just another rude liberal who can't have a respectful conversation with anyone who disagrees with you. Liberals....tolerant with everyone, as long as you agree with them. I've wasted enough time.
If you cant rebut with logic, facts and numbers, then escape on technicalities showing your THIN skin. I am no where nearly as rude as many of your GOP kin. GOP guys always TALK AS IF a GOP president is faultless and perfect. But there is no such President, not even Lincoln.
