+1 every time some of the millions of Trump supporters say anything, Trump is supposed to jump right up and take responsibility for it and then apologize for it. Surprisingly, he declines to do that. He could spend all day every day doing that. The media is always whipping up these tired stories and then demanding that Trump apologize. And many of them are 25+ years old. Ridiculous & weak.
This is a strawman. There is a very anti-Semitic, anti-Sanders, twitter feed from Clinton supporters that has about 10 followers, and I don't expect Clinton to draw attention to it by denouncing it. But if you go and read the comments to the article about Melania, they are absolutely awful...and that incident has gotten a lot of press. As Jeff pointed out, Melania did say something in response to those comments rather than just ignore them, she said the author brought it on herself. No matter how terrible and/or inaccurate the article might have been, that is no justification for the slurs people threw at the author. Both Trumps should have been able to point that out. Instead, they did the worst possible thing which was to acknowledge the comments and then imply they were justified.
