Seriously, this is the craziest thing I've ever seen. Why do these parents find this so offensive? I know exactly what this poster talking about--a kid I grew up with who was just a magical athlete in every sport she tried. Fact is, natural athleticism counts. Life is not fair. Fwiw, I have a kid on a lower team and I admit, it was a lot more fun when he was in rec and dominating. I wish he were better. I hate myself for it but there it is. Still, I'm not going to take it as a personal insult to hear about kids that are just naturally more talented.[/quote]

Jesus, I hope your kid is older.  I know many kids that grew 1.5 foot half taller at 14 and ended better than all the 'natural 9-12 year old athletes".  I don't think once I have ever experienced a 'wish my kid were better at x, y or z'.  Please try to separate yourself from your child.  Let them live their life.[/quote]
