I don't believe a kid with a borderline file will bring the AAP class down. I also don't believe most kids need AAP (and my own kid has a 145 IQ, so I think I feel pretty confident I'm entitled to state that opinion.) That said, there is no question the file we're talking about WAS borderline and I could understand parents of kids with seemingly stronger non-borderline files being upset their children weren't admitted.
