I live on a corner lot and have lot of old growth trees in my front yard. I have signs up that say specifically no trespassing. I can't stand it when dogs pee in my yard bc it destroys the sod that I pay a lot to maintain. For some reason people with dogs just let their dogs up on my trees and sod to pee and think nothing of it. I just take note of who they are, and right before my evening walk around the neighborhood, I urinate into an old Gatorade plastic bottle, and when I get to the neighbors home that decided to let their dog pee in my yard, just pick an area that I believe is fair game, and empty my pee on their yard. Then we are even. One owner let their dog poop in my yard and didn't clean it. I just picked up the poop, boxed it, and fedexed it to the neighbor with a note saying that they forgot to clean their dogs defecation from my yard and that I'd appreciate it if they returned my overnight fedex cost. I was surprised that They did (probably let the dog pee on the cash, but whatever) and now I never see them walking in front of my house anymore. What they do in their own yard is their business. In my yard, don't touch my property.
Do you have many friends? Are you married?
Man, I hope not. Can you imagine living, day in and day out, with that level of... vitriol? Paranoia? Hatefulness? I don't even know what words to use to capture that level of nastiness.
I agree that PP sounds insane and hard to live with, but letting your dog pop on someone else's property and not picking it up also requires a very high level of nastiness, don't you think? It's completely unfathomable to me how anybody can do this, but I know that (sadly) it happens all the time.
I absolutely agree that letting your dog poop on someone else's property is awful and not picking it up makes it even worse. I say this as a person that lives in an apartment with a dog two blocks from a park with an area for dogs so I work hard to make sure my dog doesn't go on anyone else's property between my apartment and the park. But PPs obsession with video taping his neighbors, tracking down offenders, forcing FedEx to handle dog feces, bottling his own pee and putting in in neighbors yards... none of that is ok. PP has some serious issues.
