The raw numbers were being used to conclude that certain schools are better than others. That may be true, but not to the extent that the raw numbers suggest. That IS misleading. Not threatened at all. I just like statistical honesty.... your school probably still beats mine... but not by as much as you like to think![/quote] I wouldn't go by numbers of kids in each grade, I would only consider the number of kids who actually applied and then the percentage of that number that were accepted. Not every kid in the grade is necessarily interested in STEM, so not every kid would apply. [/quote]
