You do know the difference between wild animals whose natural habitats are shared with plots of land where people's homes sit and domesticated pets that are the owner's responsibility, right? #1 your dog needs to be on a leash. 2) assuming he is, you the owner have the ability and obligation to keep your pet off of someone else's property. Yeah.  The wild animal sh*ts in your yard and it stays until/unless you pick it up or it washes away.  A dog poops in your yard, the owner picks it up and no harm done.[/quote]

No, but civilized people are responsible for the things they own. Including your animals. Don't want to be? Too lazy? Don't have the accommodations? Don't get a dog. It's that simple. Be wholly responsible for the [b]things [/b]you own.

Your dog is most certainly a "thing" extension of you. It belongs to you. You own it. You're responsible for all things that you own, including your kids, animals, whatever.

Others are not responsible for the things you needlessly take on for your enjoyment. And if a dog brings you lots of enjoyment? Great! Fantastic! I'm happy for you! But it's still 100000% your responsibility, and not the burden of others. Including not allowing your animal to use someone's lawn as a toilet, or put their feces in their trash can, or run around unleashed outside your personal home.[/quote]
