Why? 1) because it's easier to pronounce - this is the primary reason 2) teacher seems more polite than caregiver. 3) there is a curriculum. 4) it feels like a school. I pack lunch daily and get report cards. 5) everyone there calls it a school. 6) I pick my battles. Correcting "school" vs "daycare" so OP doesn't get annoyed isn't worth my effort. I have please and thank you and potty training to worry about.[/quote]
