I guess he can't ride in her little red wagon.
Well the front seat's broken and the axle's draggin'. Now he's really mad he let her record the song of her career: "The House That Built Me" (which he had on hold and thankfully gave it to her. What a tragedy it would have been if he recorded it instead).
I don't really know anything about Blake Shelton, because country music sung by males has been terrible for at minimum 15 years, and I generally hate that the people who sing country music songs don't write them. But the first time I heard "The House That Built Me" I burst into tears. It is that good. "Mama's Broken Heart" is also awesome. So, Team Miranda here? Don't tell anyone.
You would like Kacey Musgraves if you don't already listen to her :)
So, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Trisha Yearwood, Reba, Shania, Carrie, Miranda, the list goes on, doesn't count? If you are saying that radio plays too many male country singers, then you would be correct. If you have Sirius, listen to "The Highway" for 2 hours, you can probably count on one hand (maybe 2 if you are lucky) how many female solo artists are played. Remember the Martina McBride thread: http://dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/474393.page#7024062
