I agree with first PP. Don't bother with Arlington. It's still a very long commute even if it's "reverse commute". Buy closer to Reston, it's newer and affordable. Arlington homes are just too, too old.[/quote]

Arlington homes are too, too old??  Really - have you driven around Arlington in the last few years? At $1.6M, the OP can get a gorgeous, new construction house. Tradition Homes, BCN are great builders in that price range that have a lot going on in Arlington. [/quote]
