100% pro gun here... But would never allow kids access to guns and kids have taken safety course taught by competent instructors.

Ya think?  For me it's not so much pro or anti gun (I don't own guns, but I know lots of responsible hunters), it's more about being anti-moron.  Unfortunately a lot of people who love guns are also morons and don't practice basic safety.[/quote]

I grew up surrounded by people who were morons WRT to guns, which is why I used them as toys all through my childhood. In college, I was invited to "keg and shotgun" parties where young morons would get drunk and shoot skeet (and tin cans, old cars, once accidentally a dog).  Any other questions?[/quote]
