There is a German word that means a man who sits down to pee. It is used as an insult. Your husband is a sitzpinkler.
Ehm...no. There is a word for men who sit down and there is a word for men who stand up - neither is an insult. They both simply mean: Sitzpinkler - Man who sits when peeing Stehpinkler - Man who stands when peeing They are just slang type words and you don't hear educated people using them at all. More like urban dictionary words.
I remember being in school in the 90s and sitzpinkler was very much an insult. Not a very good one, but it was definitely used when I was in school.
Well...I am German and it's not an insult. Maybe for kids and teenagers but that doesn't say much, they use anything as insults really. Like I said, there are two words for both types of men and neither one is used in educated circles. And it doesn't say much if something is used as an insult in uneducated circles, does it? Men who aren't sure of their masculinity might use it as an insult for men who pee sitting down...but that doesn't mean men sitting down actually ARE less of a man. It just means men insulting other men for sitting down are very insecure and have never had to clean up after themselves.
