This doesn't defend her conduct, but I read on ARLNow that he car was apparently towed from the lot of a restaurant that she was actually dining at. If thatwas indeed the cse, I probably wouldn't have gotten as personal with the clerk, but I would have come in there with a full head of steam myself.
She took it way too far. The clerk has NOTHING to do with selecting cars that get towed. The type of insults she choose (re weight, education, teeth, etc) are totally irrelevant to being mad about her car. You don't treat people that way, it says a lot about someone's character, or lack thereof, by how they treat the people who are basically in menial jobs. I understand being upset, and I have had my car towed too and it sucks, but going apeshit and talking like you're in the movie Heathers to the clerk is just beyond gross and horrible. BTW the internet has picked up on other instances of McHenry degrading people for not being "pretty", etc, such as on twitter and instagram. So I don't buy her heat of the moment brouhaha.
where? I just did a search and can't find any other instances of her degrading others.
http://awfulannouncing.com/2015/britt-mchenry-also-recently-ugly-confrontation-another-woman-twitter.html That is one example.
Amazing- she earned a BA AND MA in 3 years? Hmmmm. Smells funny. DH earned an engineering BA and MS in 5 years in a specialized, very difficult program- combined programs aren't that common but surely there are probably no 2-1 combos!
The guitarist for Blind Melon go an AA, BA and JD in six years. MA programs can be short, so I'm sure some people are able to combine a BA and MA in 3 or 4 years. Why not?
Interesting, I've just never heard of it. FWIW I was in a short MPA program that was only 16 courses, so if timing wasn't an issue (with summer semesters and what not on campuses it usually is)- it wouldn't totally impossible to do it in a year. But I have never heard of anyone doing their BA in 2 years then unless of course they had maybe a full year of AP credits. Good on them! I'm too lazy to google where she went to school but its interesting that there are institutions that accommodating- usually there are institutional hurdles, I know- I work in academia and its soul sucking sometimes!
