I have had playdates over like this. I find that some of the most anal moms who complain tend to be tone deaf to the fact that yes their snowflakes can trash other peoples homes and most likely because you are so anal they need release. I know because I have to listen to it as I somehow seem to be a mom that school friends like to complain to. Hate this but I am a no drama person so I guess I am a good listener. So OP the ugghh should be on you. You should be checking in with the kids to make sure things don't get messy and the first wiff of mess should not be when the other mom gets in and you passive aggressively say you will handle it. You should also be smart enough to know that little kids and nine is still little make messes. They are having fun and sometimes need some direction that you are supposed to supply esp. if you lose it if your house gets messy. If you keep up the nastiness no one will go over your house.
