Seriously, where was Isis when creepy art guy was sniffing around Cora? That dog should have felled art guy the minute he minced into Cora's room and started to sweet talk her. Bad, Isis, bad Isis.
C'mon. Isis is no spring chicken. She must be at least 13 by now! In fact, I wonder if the show jumps ahead any more years will they kill her off and remove her from the opening credits?
For some reason I thought that Isis was the second dog on the show. I don't think it's been the same dog from the start. Anyone know?
Isis is the 2nd dog. Added in season 2, which took place in 1916. It's 1924 in the current season (5). So Isis is only 8. But I fear there is trouble ahead for that dog. No way British television producers are going to keep around a dog that shares its name with such a horrific terror organization. Even if said organization has changed names eleventy million times
Yes, there is a show called "Archer" and the characters all worked for a spy agency called Isis, and they had to change the name. I think Isis deserves a little romance! Some downstairs mutt that happens upon her, or some barn dog? Or…since that story line has already been done with the daughters, maybe she could meet some really fancy show dog, that was supposed to be bred to another show dog, but instead falls for Isis and will have nothing to do with the fancy girl dog..(bonus, it would allow Lord Grantham to say the word "bitch" in polite company)
