My child can focus very well and I don't think it is ever being an issue. I never expect teacher sharing or offering her food to the children either. Maybe it is just cultural differences. I am finding drinking cup of coffee is acceptable in a professional environment. Eating in front of the class -- not. Again, maybe it is specifics of American culture. [/quote]
