To complicate matters, Gender Dysphoria can have different levels at different times.
Its a complicated subject to say the least.  But the point is, Bruce would rather NOT 
change his appearance!  It is NEEDED because of the condition he SUFFERS from!
I believe me, it is Suffering!  Trust that Bruce has had multiple people tell him he is an embarrasment
and that he will be riduculed and abandoned by many of his friends and family. 
Imagine if you had cancer and everyone turns on you because you lost your hair in treatment.
It is a very similar feeling.
