An op ed in the Jerusalem Times by Gilad Sharon, sone of Ariel Sharon, former Israeli prime minister.

He sees Gaza as an independent state against which Israel is declaring out and out war, not as a refugee camp of displaced people.  He calls for all of Gaza to be obliterated (like the US bombed Hiroshima and Nagasake) -- civilians, women, children, everyone.

That’s what’s called “deterrence” – if you shoot at me, I’ll shoot at you. There is no justification for the State of Gaza being able to shoot at our towns with impunity. [b]We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima – the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.[/b]
