I doubt it. More Jews live here than anywhere else in the world. They tend to be highly educated, affluent, and most important, politically active around a single voting issue. They're like the Olds wrt Social Security. The rest of the population can be split by a variety of wedge issues. Jews will continue to vote on American foreign policy vis a vis Israel. [/quote]

I think you do not have a handle on the views of younger, college-educated American Jews towards Israeli policy.  There are few ways to ostracize yourself better among your peers than to provide unequivocal support for whatever Israel wants to do.  The biggest supporters of Israel will be Tea Party Republicans who are anxiously awaiting the Second Coming, but couldn't find Israel on a map if they tried. [/quote]

You might introduce yourself as a Zionist to your peers or support their side in discussions but that doesn't mean you want the US to stop funding Israel militarily.[/quote]
