TJ has changed. There are more Asians. Although in the last 6 to 7 years, academic standards increased e.g. average SAT scores increased, average weighted GPA increased, number of AP courses per student increased, number of Intel semifinalists increased and number of school clubs and volunteer clubs increased as well.[b] It's odd that academic standards went up, club and volunteer activities went up yet the top college admissions went down. Not really.  College admissions are getting more competitive for everyone....TJ is an excellent student with a high concentration of extremely bright students.  But it is just one school out of thousands.[/quote]

Actually, talking to people there, I think TJ is a horrible school with excellent students.  The great thing about TJ is the kids will learn the material on their own and from their classmates.  [/quote]
