I want to say that's great, but I'm no more inclined to judge the decisions you make for your family than I am of anyone else's because I don't want you judging mine.  My kid is also going IB to a so-so school (still with an OOB wait list) and I'm so focused on getting involved and doing what we can to contribute to our neighborhood school that I don't have time or desire to get uptight about where other kids live.  And I'm not looking for a pat on the back.

As for what kids see and learn, I have more concern for the ones who are OOB at a school - and legitimately so - being under constant stgma and scrutiny.  What are we teaching them?[/quote]

If someone gets a legit OOB spot, that's fantastic. But I absolutely judge OP and people I meet who talk about residency fraud like it's no big deal. Like I said, I'm not at a school that has this problem - those OOB can get in. But if I have concrete evidence that someone is doing this at any school, I would absolutely report it. [/quote]
