My point was that DD knew to get in all those treats while we were in town for orientation. Her college allowance does not include money for manicures and spray tans. [/quote]Point taken. My sister took her kid out for an expensive dinner and theatre as she was quite aware of what was upcoming especially dorm food. Everyone's experience is different. [/quote]
