+1.  If you can finance this, I'm not judging either. But we're pinching every penny to pay that $60K, and manicures and tans aren't in our budget![/quote]
That was me. My point was that DD knew to get in all those treats while we were in town for orientation. Her college allowance does not include money for manicures and spray tans. [/quote]Point taken.  My sister took her kid out for an expensive dinner and theatre as she was quite aware of what was upcoming especially dorm food.
