the boundaries are not solid in 16th Street Heights--13th and Delafield is solidly in 16th Street Heights but it is the Brightwood Park area that is trickier which is typically north of kennedy west of Georgia and east of 14th street. The 16th Street Heights part of the north area is all the blocks west of 16th street street that have fed in the past (and currently) to Brightwood and Deal ...like the 1400 and 1600 blocks of Montague and Madison etc. All south of Military/Missouri... My friend on the 1300 blocks of Madison and Colorado consider themselves n Brightwood Park.
I am not sure that this sort of thing matters, but I think most people who think of 16th St Heights consider the boundaries to be Missouri/Military, Georgia, 16th St and Arkansas. (Wikipedia agrees, FWIW, and so do real estate websites, etc.) And in those boundaries, folks are zoned for at least three elementary schools (West, Brightwood, Powell), three MS/ECs (Deal, West, Brightwood), and one HS (Roosevelt). The only reason I raise this at all is that this is a Crestwood thread, and 16th St Heights -- as Jeff mentioned -- is situated a bit differently. I'm trying not to attach any other meaning to this other than finding the facts.
