I don't think atheists are hypocrites.  I don't think you know the meaning of the word hypocrite.  Atheists call things as they see it.  If they think a belief is ridiculous, they say so.  There's no hypocrisy there.

As for the "good without god," a person can be good and still describe another person as a fool.  Just because an atheist calls you an ignorant fool doesn't make that atheist not good.  But obviously you didn't understand when I made the distinction between words and actions.

This makes no sense. It's not OK to insult people just so long as you're not physically beating them up. Limiting yourself to insults instead of beatdowns doesn't make you a "good person."  Plus, "ignorant fool" would have been gentle compared to some of the stuff people have called OP on this thread. [/quote]
