That's the Yorkshire accent (and lots of other northern English, Scottish, Northern Irish accents), love it or not.

So you're saying that there are no annoying accents... at all?  Not Long Island or Brooklyn or Minnesota or Alabama or cockney or even perhaps Yorkshire?  What is with you?  Can't people find certain accents irritating?  I'm sure the British find many of the above accents to be terribly annoying.   :roll:[/quote]
