Did another independent agency "clear" him?[/quote] he was the sheriff of alexandria. technically, the sheriff's department and the police department are separate law enforcement agencies. i'm not saying he didn't have anything to do with it, i'm just clarifying that the police never named the sheriff as a suspect or a person of interest.[/quote]
