I'd rather spend the time with my kids than leaving them with strangers.  I'd rather eat inside without bugs, cars driving by and being on a crammed sidewalk with people walking within inches of me.  I hate going to bethesda.  Parking is hell and there are very few stores I'd need on a regular basis.[/quote]

You 2^^ are why places like Rockville continue to be doomed to banal eternity. Nobody wants to go there? But yet it's too crowded? With people who want to go there…The loss of the huge parking lot next to the Honda dealership does suck. But some of us ride our bikes with the kids up the Crescent Trail up from the south, park and lock our bikes eat some 5 Guys and gobble some Shave Ice from John's stand and then duck into Barnes and Noble for books to fill our back packs and ride back home or to our cars parked at the Bethesda Pool. For people who don't want to eat on sidewalks or walk and actually get some exercise in what ever weather, yeah, not for you. If you have babies in strollers I can understand not being into it but if the kids can walk, what's your problem?[/quote]
