Valetta Bradford (that's her name btw) is NOT a degenerate.  She's not a bad mother.  Xzavier was doing everything right: he was crossing in the crosswalk, holding his 13 year old sisters hand (not playing in the street as other PPs who can't be bothered to find anything out about this case have just assumed).  And still he was hit by a young woman who was too busy texting to pay attention.

I think all the PPs who made these assumptions saw a woman who was black and overweight with a child who's name is spelled in a nontraditional manner and decided that it was ok to blame the victim.  If they'd actually watched the documentary the commercial was cut from, or hell even this short from the DOT:
