Boy you are being an idiot.

1) No one suggests that her mom should have allowed her to continue with her disrespectful behavior.  You seek counseling, you put up healthy boundaries, you even enter a program.  What you don't do is send her off to be someone else's problem.  Out of sight, out of mind, right?

2) There are a lot of people involved in trying to help her (including me, in whatever small way I can).  There are people who believe that adults in this girl's life have failed her.  There is a reason 15 is considered a minor by law.  It's because 15 year olds still have a lot of growing up and maturing to do.  [/quote]

Oh ok got it. So as long as she's not directly causing problems in your household, breaking the law and affecting the behavior of the other small children in your house you're all for her being here in the states.

FYI she's no longer 15. She's almost 18 and about to be a 'legal' adult.
