He had the surgery in Feb 2013--only 9 months ago. As of August (6 months after surgery) he was showing noticeable changes in his weight. By now, it's more. Yes, he's still large, but he's been making slow and steady progress. Most importantly, he's changing not only how much, but how and what he eats.
