The CogAT/FXAT is trying to measure raw potential. It is not particularly good at that. FCPS knows that. Prepping will increase the score, but not the potential. FCPS is aware of this. High scores without the creativity shown in the classroom will not get the kids into AAP. However, high scores and the hard work/demonstrated intelligence will. Which came first ability or prep?

Should only individuals with ability, aptitude or high IQ be allowed to prep?

Who will decide that one has ability and it is therefore ok to prep like Peyton?

Is this indicated on the driver's license or voting card?
