They do not have a TV and NEVER take her to movies EVER. They now let her watch certain things on their iPod though. Turns out she was sad because she had no idea what kids were talking about at school--she will be 8 soon. She loves Spongebob. She has never seen the show, just loves the character. My sister and BIL are absolutely appalled by this. I just laugh because they are delusion idiots. It's one thing to learn and limit exposure (or use it as a teachable moment about body image etc...). It's another to make it taboo.[/quote]
