Starr is an idiot. MCPS needs to hire someone who can actually run a large scale organization or it needs to break up into smaller systems. Its ridiculous to have someone like this leading the school system into the ground. You can't go 3 weeks without another MCPS scandal hitting the press that was completely avoidable with good leadership and effective operations.

There is no reason why a policy can not be put in place disallowing teachers from being alone with students. The principal should get fired if someone reports that a teacher has a child in their room with the door locked. There also is no reason for special lunch bunches or allowing situations that led to this.
