I agree with you that this person is obnoxious. But the thing is, people in this thread are trying to match him/her, instead of ignoring him/her, which would be an appropriate response.  You think obnoxious behavior somehow improves if the person behind it is more articulate, and pretends to have Taste, capital T? It doesn't. It is the same shit. I always wonder why seemingly sane people fall for the booster bait every time she/he posts, and then try to sound exactly like that person.[/quote]

The bashing is a direct and predictable response to the over-the-top obnoxious touting of Pimmit Hills on DCUM.  If you recognize that, your comment suggests that you either think the touting is warranted, in which case you're delusional, or that you think the touting should be ignored, in which case you should be equally prepared to ignore the bashing.
