The one thing your child will definitely learn at O-A is that labels like "language dominance" are inaccurate, at best, and easily twisted into disrespect and prejudice. You can't, nor should you, judge a 6 year old by their last name, skin tone, their accent, or what you think you heard them say. Immigrants in an elevator? Give me a break.
