125 nnat, 133 wisc (gai 144), almost all 4s. not in.
This is discouraging! I heard that wisc 133 is a sure bet before... My DC is also not in (nnat 135, tat 96%) and I am thinking of wisc. For my DC's ability, I guess the wisc in the range of 130-135 is very possible. So DC will still have trouble getting in... Maybe we should wait one more year for DC to mature? BTW, DC has a summer birthday.
A WISC on appeal seems to have more weight than in original packet. I wouldn't wait. Plus in your DC's case, the only low score would be the GBRS (I'm assuming that's the only reason your DC didn't get in) so a WISC in the 130s should override GBRS.
I thought you weren't supposed to get more than one WISC a year.
I believe the comment about WISC on appeal was for the second poster, who hasn't had WISC done yet, not for the original poster who submitted WISC with the application. So the comment encourages those who have not had WISC done yet to have one done for appeal, even if they see that WISC with original application did not get a child with good scores in.
