Why not?[/quote] The name change from GT to Advanced Academics was just that-just a name change. Nothing about the program changed. The intent was to emphasize that the program addresses academic talent, and not the many other types of talents children may have. The name change did not change the purpose of the program, it is still a program for children whose academic needs cannot be met in the regular classroom. [/quote]
