[/quote] Maybe I am "spouting" but it seems to be true, and I am not a Swanson parent, but a TJ parent. Some are attracted to the IB (which does not guarantee you a spot at W-L, by the way) Some were disgusted with the events surrounding the departure of the principal. Some have reasons they aren't sharing with me. Most people in Arlington are very happy with where their kid wound up. Certainly those of us going on and on about Yorktown v W-L could have bought houses in the other school's catchment area and the fact that we didn't shows we value features about the place we chose. For my family, W-L was the better choice. The schools aren't that different, really. [/quote]
