Girl, you are straight lying.  If I recall history correctly, Trump reached out to the local news, bragging that he could do a better job than the then-contractors whose costs were overrun by millions of dollars and poor work performance. Trump begged Koch to give him a chance at no cost to the city, for all Trump wanted in return were the keys to the rink and 20-years of all the proceeds from the concession stands. went to the local news. Trump made millions on this deal. Trump lied and said he would then contribute the proceeds to charity. Koch accepted the deal, but not one charity received a penny from that deal. It has been well established that the now-defunct Trump Organization Charity was a laundering front and did not provide any money to help others beyond Trump, his family, and his friends.
