Libs are petrified that their kids might hear outrageously wacky ideas like voters should have to show an ID, there are 2 sexes, & illegal aliens shouldn’t get free housing, medical, & in-state tuition at state colleges.
“Voters SHOULD have to show an ID.” You don’t provide any evidence. This is classic “conservatism.” In fact, the right wingers who use voter id laws to disenfranchise poor people are never able to to show ANY evidence of why someone SHOULD show ID. In the Wisconsin Supreme Court case, the could not point to a single instance of in person voter fraud. Not one. But “conservatives” are too delicate to be challenged by actual reality. They are too lazy and inept to produce actual evidence for their claims, because of course there is none. They are parroting talking points scripted by billionaires who don’t want to be pestered by actual democracy. The weakness, mendacity, treachery, and laziness of conservatives is exhausting. But of course, that’s the point.
Right wingers love moralistic shows without actually supporting the intermediary parts that could make their vision realizable . We could just have every citizen registered at 18 automatically by giving out national IDs at birth like peer nations. Same with their whole anti abortion crusade which has the simple solution of creating a strong social safety net where it doesn’t costs thousands to have a child in the first place. It’s simply finger wagging with no real concrete foundation for things to improve.
