There are very many medium priced brands, and also some people simply don't carry handbags and carry backpacks or briefcases or totes for work.  They may also have one fancy bag for the dinners out.  There are people who love handbags and fancy totes and those who don't.

But there is also a lot of virtue signalling on part of people who can effortlessly afford luxury bags but out of some weird principal do not buy one, or maybe some psychological handicap like scarcity mentality.

Honestly, if someone says to me that the reason they live in their 3+ mil home and have 10 mil NW or whatever is because they never spent money on silly things like designer bags and never owned one, I'll say they are bad at math.  Or petty, or think others are stupider than them[/quote]
