The funny part is that the ones I know have kids in Carson AAP so, no, they won't be moving to Franklin, they will be staying at Carson. They are the epitome of wanting other people's kids to move to a less desirable school so that their kids can stay where they want them to stay. Crossfield sports families are so stupid and clueless, they're just following along like sheep.[/quote]

I've had AAP kids at both, and yeah, you sort of do have to go to Carson if you want to hit the ground running in HS.  Franklin has some very good and involved teachers but its not like Carson AAP.[/quote]

I think it's dependent on the teachers your kids have. My kids had both some strong and some weak teachers at both schools. The AAP English and History teachers, as well as the Geometry and Spanish teachers, at Franklin prepared my kids very well for high school, and their reading and writing instruction was far better than what my kids at Carson got. However, the science and coding instruction at Carson was far superior to Franklin's. My kids who went to Carson were much better prepared for high school science than my kids who went to Franklin were.
