Richmond and Wake both received a record number of apps this cycle, as they have for the previous few cycles, pushing their acceptance rates below 20 percent. Most applicants seem to care little about the US News rankings since they become focused on Pell eligible and first gen populations, and instead value small class sizes and lots of interaction with professors.
