This never happened.[/quote] The rhetoric was there (in the US too), it wasn't implemented in the US, but it happened in other countries. The internet is forever and there are plenty of videos of CNN, MSNBC, WAPO, etc talking heads discussing this specific topic on prime time broadcasts. It's not a left/right issue - it's facts and it made folks see how quickly all the scared people just comply and then push to make compliance mandatory. [/quote]
