Every woman who has a large jewelry collection should own a polishing cloth. You can find them SO cheap and all it takes is a couple wipes before you wear it & the jewelry looks beautiful. Plus, Stella & Dot sends out in the boxes a piece of paper with caring instructions. I understand there 3 month policy, because after that damage that gets done is probably from the user. If I wear a necklace with a delicate chain 24/7 and it breaks after 6 months of sleeping in it, or tossing it around so the chain gets tangled- I wouldn't expect it to be allowed to get returned. 
Bottom line is the jewelry is BEAUTIFUL, if it's too expensive- don't buy it or host a party.[/quote]
